Last updated 29 September 2026
Care-a-Paw is run by THE PET WELLBEING COMPANY PTY LTD (ABN 13 673 319 652) in Australia (“we”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@spot-a-paw.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, an optional display name and photo.
- Your pets: what you enter: names, species, birthdays, microchip numbers, vet details, health records, reminders, documents and photos you upload.
- Sharing: who you invite to a pet, and their role.
- Purchases: whether you have Premium, handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
- Location: only when you post a lost-pet alert, to place it on Track-a-Paw. It is rounded to an area, never shown exactly.
- Device: a notification ID so reminders reach your phone.
How we use it
Only to run the app: to keep your pets' records, send your reminders, share with the people you choose, make portraits you ask for, and provide support. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase (database, files and sign-in; stored in Sydney, Australia)
- OneSignal (notifications), RevenueCat, Apple and Google (subscriptions)
- An image provider that creates portraits from the photos you choose, only when you ask for one
They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Who can see your pets
Only you and the people you invite. Invited people can see the pet's records, and contributors can also add and edit them. You can remove anyone at any time.
Deleting your data
In the app: Account → Delete account. This deletes your account, your pets, records, reminders, documents and photos. People you shared a pet with lose access. You can also email us.
Children
Care-a-Paw is not directed at children under 16.
